Job Descriptions:

We are looking for highly motivated Java Developers or UI/UX Developers to work on our Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Comparison-Shopping Engine (CSE) platforms. These platforms are responsible for

• Securing and optimizing user traffic from search engines(Google and Bing) to our price comparison websites and major e-commerce websites across Europe
• Powering our CSE website with more than 200 Million product listings, update rate going into millions per minute and serving live site traffic of more than 15000 requests per minute.

As an SEM platform developer, you would be responsible for handling and enhancing

• Sync/bidding for millions of keywords/products on Google/Bing system
• Stream processing of product changes as soon as update is available in catalogue
• Huge data processing for analytics
• Google/Bing/eBay's REST/SOAP APIs integration to Platform

As a CSE platform developer you would be responsible of handling and enhancing

• Search and caching technology
• Microservices architecture serving the data from search and cache to live site
• Data stream processing engine to make the data available in search and cache as soon as update is available in catalogue
• Distributed data lake holding terabytes of data for onsite and catalogue data analytics

As UI/UX Developers you would be responsible for 

• You would be responsible for developing best in industry UI experience for all shopping websites of Guenstiger GmbH, for both desktop and mobile.
• You would also be responsible for creating and maintaining customer facing microservices written in Nodejs as self-hosted and/or as serverless (AWS Lambda) APIs.
• You need to be passionate about creating a blazing fast user experience like no other website and help design team define and implement transitions.

Job Requirements:

• Can do attitude - Willingness to learn and conquer
• Good communication skills and ability to effectively translate a business domain problem into a technical solution
• Good understanding of core java, data structures, design patterns and multithreading
• Good understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Nodejs, JavaScript, React, Express.JS and PM2.
• Exposure to event driven architecture in a multithreaded environment, microservices architecture and frameworks like Apache Storm and Apache Kafka will be plus
• Ability and interest to explore and adopt new technologies
