Job Description:

We are hiring a Java Developer who will participate in all aspects of architecting and developing new and innovative applications, tools, and core technology components. Technical excellence, reliable delivery, flexibility and quick learning will be paramount in meeting ever new and unexpected challenges. As a part of your regular work you will:

• Work with architects, product owners and front-end teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases and then translate them into pragmatic and effective technical solutions.
• Develop innovative solutions based on product requirements and business challenges
• Ensure all Java code is suitable for automated unit testing and code coverage
• Research and apply new technologies and best practices
• Design and create efficient RESTful endpoints for both internal and public consumption
• Provide task estimations and deliver quality code on time
• Participate in regular bug fixing
• Brainstorm and contribute ideas for new products and solutions

Desired Skills:

• 3-6 years of experience in JAVA development
• Experience with enterprise application development and highly scalable web applications and services
• Experience in working with large databases (MySQL,Cassandra , Solr) preferred
• Experience in OOD and modular design patterns
• Experience in designing Restful services
• Comfortable in using Git or any SCM to manage codebases
